Presenter Bio:
Brent Baxter became a licensed amateur radio operator in 2019 after many years of interest and experimentation in electronics. Brent enjoys learning about RF principles by tinkering with antenna building, electronics construction and improving his skills with test equipment like the NanoVNA.
Brent enjoys portable operations and volunteering as radio support for events such as the Peachtree Road Race, Publix Marathon and the various local events in the Fayette County area.
Presentation Brief:
Join us as we take a look into the world of RF filters with Brent Baxter KN4VAD. We will review a few of the most types of filters used in HAM radio and dig into some of the details that make these filters so useful in the hobby.
