Our special guest speaker will be Dr. Bob Heil, K9EID. Dr. Heil is an American sound and radio engineer most well known for creating the template for modern rock sound systems. He invented the Heil Talk Box in 1973, which was frequently used by musicians such as Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, Richie Sambora, and is still in use today. He also started a company called Heil Sound that produces some of the finest amateur radio sound equipment in the world. Dr. Heil is an avid amateur (ham) radio operator and hosts the weekly Ham Nation podcast, the most watched & listened to ham radio podcast in the country.
