FEBRUARY 2022 CLUB MEETING – How Scouts Make Amateur Radio Fun & Interesting!

Join us for the in-person February 2022 meeting of the Fayette County Amateur Radio Club on 2/24/2022 @ 7pm. All are welcome. Our meetings are generally held on the final Thursday of the month, except November & December.

Topic: How Scouts Make Amateur Radio Fun & Interesting!

George Fenn (W4VBD) and Brent Baxter (KN4VAD) will be speaking on how Scouts have kept radio interesting in the age of cell phones and seemingly always available internet and wi-fi. Those same ideas that work for Scouts will also work for other youth to promote interest in amateur radio.

Meeting will be held at the Fayette County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at 110 Volunteer Way, Fayetteville, GA. The EOC is co-located with the 911 center.
