Presentation Overview
You may have caught the recent thread on groups.io about QSL cards — it was a great conversation and we thought it deserved some dedicated airtime at the April meeting. We’re setting aside 35 minutes for a short background presentation followed by a club show & tell.
Here’s what we need from you:
Bring 5 QSL cards to the meeting.
They can be cards you’ve received from interesting contacts, cards you’ve sent, old ones, rare ones — or your own station card if you have one. No rules, just bring ones that mean something to you or that you find interesting.
If you don’t have any yet, that’s completely fine — and actually a great reason to come!
The format will be simple:
We’ll start with a quick intro round where everyone holds up one card and says just one thing about it — where it came from, what made the contact memorable, or why you kept it. Then we’ll have open time to mill around, look at each other’s cards, and swap stories. We’ll wrap up with a group discussion — and based on the thread, we expect the “how do I get my own card made?” question to come up, so be ready to share what’s worked for you.
