You are invited to join us for the annual Fayette County Amateur Radio Club ARRL Field Day, always the last full weekend in June. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, June 24- Sunday, June 25 at Brooks Bears Football Field located at 905 Hwy 85 Connector, Brooks, GA 30205 (behind Fayette County Fire Station 6).
Talk-in will be on the club’s flagship KK4GQ repeater on 145.210 MHz (- offset, 131.8 Hz PL). You do not have to be a club member or even a ham radio operator to participate.

Schedule
When: Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, 2022.
Where: Brooks Bears Football Field located at 905 Hwy 85 Connector, Brooks, GA 30205 (behind Fayette County Fire Station 6).
Planned Schedule (as of 6/19/2023):
Saturday:
0800-0845: Informal Breakfast: Waffle House, 1209 GA-74, Peachtree City
0900-1200: Assemble at Brooks Bears Field. Communications and support
equipment setup.
1200-1300: Lunch (on your own)
1300-1400: Systems testing.
1400-2359: Field Day operations.
1400-1900: Visitors invited.
1800-1900: Dinner
Sunday:
0000-1400: Field Day operation.
1000-1300 Visitors invited.
0800-0900 Breakfast (on your own).
1200-1300 Lunch (on your own).
1400-1600: Site tear down. Remove trash and restore the site to its original
condition.
There will be 3 HF stations, 1 VHF station and numerous opportunities to support the operation.
This is the FCARC’s premier event and we need help from all club members to make it happen. Your participation can be from an hour to the full 31 scheduled hours. As a volunteer organization, we know there are other priorities, but please set some time aside for this event if you can.
Check for postings to the KK4GQ reflector for your name as we will assign unfilled positions.
